Who doesn't love a good sesh? Especially when you get to hang out with the @Leafly crew and smoke some gold!

As part of an initiative to better educate budtenders across the nation, Leafly Series presents the Budtender Sesh. This event brings together budtenders, notable speakers and vendors to discuss some of the current trends, sales techniques, and general cannabis knowledge.

For their LA Budtender Sesh, Leafly brought out Maria Sharp who spoke on Dispensary retail sales and Nick Jikomes who spoke on the science of cannabinoids and terpenes. Needless to say, we had a few questions for Nick. Oh my science!

Between speakers, the budtenders were able to chop it up with some of the industry’s best vendors and manufacturers (shine of course!). Those that stopped by the shine booth were able to sample some gold and check out the latest additions to our lineup.

Joa and Heiko from @StrainHunters / @GreenHouseSeedco were kind enough to travel all the way from the Netherlands to speak on their experiences being part of a truly pioneering team in cannabis. It was awesome to have met them and to hear some of their stories. We can’t wait to visit them!
